End of an era
Sad times. Our skipper Neal has managed to find new employment and will no longer be able to fish with us on Saturdays. As such, he has taken the decision to stand down as Captain of the club.
On behalf of everyone at the club, I'd like to thank Neal for his service and wish him all the best in his new venture.
You'll be missed, Son.
On the plus side, the club will be arranging some Sunday matches and if we get decent turn outs, they could become a regular feature and possibly even have a separate league. Time will tell....
The first one will be at The Cunneries, on the original lake, on Sunday 18th September. There's still a few places available if anyone fancies it.
Love it Tony and yes you will be missed son

ReplyDeleteThank you Tony, your too kind, and once again thanks to all the lads, been an amazing run and a cracking laugh. Been with the club since it started and met some great lads over the years who I now consider friends, look forward to catching you on the banks on Sunday's. Tight lines chaps and good luck in the league!
